Horizon, a brand of certified organic dairy, and Global Icons, a licensing and brand merchandising agency engaged in the development and extension of corporate brands and trademarks, have entered into an exclusive licensing partnership.

Saputo Q3 Profits Surge 80.4%

Saputo has reported net earnings of $104.3m or $0.5 per diluted share for the third quarter of fiscal 2010, an increase of 80.4% compared to $57.8m or $0.28 per diluted share for the same quarter previous year. Revenues for the quarter was $1.497bn, a decrease of 1.3% compared to $1.517bn for the same quarter previous year.

YoCream Reports Increase In Q4 Sales

YoCream has reported net sales of $13.51m for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009, an increase of 1.3% compared to $13.34m for the same quarter previous year. Sales at the company's core frozen yogurt products were up over 59% in the fourth quarter.

General Mills Reformulates Yoplait YoPlus

General Mills, a US-based food company, has reformulated Yoplait YoPlus. The company claims that the yogurt now comes with 20% of the Daily Value of antioxidant vitamins A and E, a blend of special probiotic cultures and fiber for digestive health, calcium and vitamin D for bone health.
