Ebro Puleva To Sell Dairy Business To Lactalis Group For EUR630m

Ebro Puleva has reached an agreement in principle with Lactalis to sell its dairy business for EUR630m. The financial statements will be audited over the next four weeks and the final contracts of sale will be drawn up based on the terms initially agreed.

Parmalat FY09 EBITDA Up 16.2%

Parmalat has reported revenues of EUR3.96bn for the fiscal year 2009, an increase of 1.4% compared to EUR3.91bn in the previous year. EBITDA for the year was EUR367.8m, up 16.2% compared to EUR316.6m in the prior year.

Chobani Unveils New Greek Yogurt Line For Kids

Chobani Greek Yogurt (Chobani), owned by AgroFarma, has rolled out a new line of yogurt for kids, Chobani Champions. The company claims that one cup of Champions embodies 10% of the daily calcium requirement with five live and active cultures, along with three probiotics and 34% protein content of the daily value.
