Nu-Tek Products, a manufacturer and seller of functional ingredients, has introduced Cultured Soy Milk Powder made from identity preserved organic beans.
The company said that the soymilk is fermented with selected Probiotic cultures L acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis L bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. The fermentation of soy improves the digestibility of soy protein. Isoflavone bioavailability is enhanced due to the ability of these beneficial bacteria to convert the isoflavones to more absorbable forms.
It claims that the final product contains all the metabolites and cell wall fractions for immuno stimulation from these beneficial cultures. The powder has application in nutritional bars, nutritional beverages, medical foods and special nutrition.
The company has licensed patented technology to produce products that fall into categories such as protein hydrolysates, dietary fibers, pectins, specialty sugars, low sodium salt and fermented or cultured products.
